The Halo Lane was built for the moment no one prepares you for.

When my mother died unexpectedly, I was 26 years old and suddenly the executor of her estate. I didn't know what that meant. I didn't know where to start. I just knew that the world kept moving, and so did the to-do list — whether I was ready or not.

There were phone calls to make, accounts to close, paperwork to file, and decisions to navigate, all while I was barely holding it together. Nobody handed me a guide. I pieced it together tab by tab, call by call, in the fog of grief.

This is a place built around one simple belief: that the people carrying the weight of loss deserve clarity, not more confusion. You shouldn't have to figure out where to start at the hardest moment of your life. You shouldn't have to wonder what you're missing, or feel like you're failing because the logistics are overwhelming. That weight is real — and it deserves real support.

The Halo Lane offers a guided checklist that walks you through what needs to happen, in the order it needs to happen, with trusted resources and support woven throughout.

It's not a replacement for the professionals you'll need along the way — attorneys, financial advisers, grief counselors — but it's a place to get your footing. A clear next step when everything else feels uncertain.

Built from lived experience. Built with care. Built for you.
